What information we we collect

When you make a booking with us we collect:
Your name, email address, phone number, and address;
Guest stay data, including date of arrival and departure, and special requests made
Data you provide regarding your marketing preferences

We use, but do not store the following data

Credit card details (type of card, credit card number, name on card, expiration date, and security code);

How we use this information

We use your billing address as part of the card payment processing to validate your card.
We will use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking and an email with more details on how to find us and other information you may find useful for your stay.
After your stay you may receive an email checking everything was ok with your stay and offering you ways to stay in contact with us by social media or email if you choose to do so.
We will not use your telephone number to contact you unless in an emergency and/or we have been unable to contact you by email.
We will not share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.

Data Sharing

Third-party service providers:We use service providers to process your personal data strictly on our behalf. This processing would be for purposes as included in this Privacy Statement, such as facilitating reservation payments, sending out marketing material, or for analytical support services. These service providers are bound by confidentiality clauses and are not allowed to use your personal data for their own purposes or any other purpose.
Competent authorities:We disclose personal data to law enforcement and other governmental authorities insofar as it is required by law or is strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts and fraud.

Marketing

We would like to stay in touch with you to send information about the B&B, any special offers we may have or local events. We send occasional emails ( normally no more than one a month )  to people on our distribution list. The distribution list is managed by a secure third party, Mailchimp.
We will not email you without your express consent to opt-in to receiving these newsletters. If you would like to do so, please click here You may change your preferences or unsubscribe via Mailchimp at any time.
Neither we nor Mailchimp will pass your details onto any third party
